When someone complains about an indoor air problem, make sure you take ACTION. Document the actions you take in checking for the problem as well as what you found. Too often we see facility managers ignore or never tell the complaintant what they did. Complainers can stir things up and can notify news organizations or federal agencies and now the problem has expanded.
Check the complaint area, write a report on your findings and inform the person complaining. They will appreciate your actions and will likely be happy that someone listened.
